DSTA scholars' night / Ink Club Bar

the evening of 4aug was fun! there was idle talk, food, drink and scholars of course. TONNES of scholars.

strength in numbers; so we gathered at a little cosy corner to enjoy the skewed prawns, chao tar chicken wings and "dead-looking" sweet potatoes.

on my suggestion, we then went to chill at Ink Club Bar. the place is uber-cool yet underground, bringing an air of exclusivity to it.
the unisex bathroom was mesmerising. i won't blame you too if you took awhile to figure out how to use the taps.

we broke the usual laid-back cool of the bar. we upped the ante with the live band, and for that segment, everyone was moving and grooving to the music of the night.

and with special requests came special performances. the lead singer pulled CK up for Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry". the audio's outta sync, but you get the idea. the atmosphere was incredible.

yinghui and duckling were next to grace the stage. yinghui knew some of the words while duckling just, well, waddled along. XD

it was a blast! never was a trip to a bar more entertaining. i guess this really offsets the boring thursday night at Dbl O.
